This walk starts in the square in the centre of Dennington, outside the Church and goes down the road towards Framlingham to find a signpost. Be careful here: the path is through the churchyard and the signpost, pointing across the fields, is deceptive.

Framlingham Hall is a 16C building, with later alterations, and three ponds which were probably ornamental rather than part of a moat.

The Church of St Mary in Dennington is 12C-14C and filled with interesting features: triple pulpit, carved pew ends, rood lofts, beautiful tombs, parclose screens.

The tomb of Lord and Lady Bardolf. Sir William Phelip, Lord Bardolf, was a knight who fought with Henry V at Agincourt. Interestingly he took his title from his wife!
