Aspall Cyder at The Poacher in Cratfield.

In 1728 Clement Chevalier inherited Aspall Hall and moved to Suffolk from his native Jersey. But the cider grown in Suffolk did not satisfy him and so he imported trees from Jersey to produce ‘cyder’, and, as they say, the rest is history. The family have now been producing Cyder and vinegar for 286 years.
