Santa Maria Real de Piasca is a Romanesque Church near Potes in the Picos de Europa. There seemed to be many churches, monasteries, and hermitages in the area around Potes and we had time to visit three.
We had wandered through Potes and the Monastery of San Toribio and now we set off up the valley of the River Deva to Fuente Dé in the Picos de Europa.
The Monastery of San Toribio near Potes is apparently only one of five sites in Christianity that can issue a perpetual indulgence.

The Church of Notre Dame in Brennilis was developed from 1485 through to the 16C, and has recently been restored, again.
The Church of St Herbot is in a small settlement of the same name, near Plounévez-du-Faou. The Church started building in the 14C on the site where St Herbot was buried and was the second church on the site.
