St Mary’s Church in Cratfield in the evening light. A Church was established in Cratfield at the time of the Domesday Book of 1086, but most of the current church dates from 1300s and 1400s. Suffolk has many old churches dating from this period and during our Cratfield Open Weekend, on 14 and 15 June, we have expert guided tours where visitors can learn about the architecture of these beautiful buildings.
