The Church of St Yves in Plougonven is another of the Enclos Paroissial in Brittany. We had just finished a walk around Le Relecq and needed a cup of coffee which we hoped to find in Plougonven.
The day was wet, cold, and very grey and I thought black and white photography would be interesting for this very old complex of buildings.

The Calvary is extraordinary – I could have spent hours looking at the carvings.

Inside the church were many statues of the saints, and the usual barrel-vaulted ceiling, although not painted blue this time.

There is always a quiet corner if you just look for it.
The Ossuary.
