On this visit we decided to visit two remarkable museums in Burgos which we had not previously seen, and both were rewarding in different ways.

The Parador of Cangas de Onis was a wonderfully relaxing last stop on our travels in Spain. It stands on the banks of the Sella River just outside the town and in the foothills of the Picos de Europa.
The N621 and N625 roads from Leon to Cangas de Onis are quite simply spectacular! Do not miss an opportunity to travel on these roads rather than the motorway if you possibly can.
