The Parador of Lerma is just wonderful! Beautiful, comfortable, good food, and courteous and efficient staff – I felt truly pampered during my stay and would happily return.

The Parador, once a Ducal Palace, has an illustrious history1 and grandly overlooks the town square. I have written about it before so this is just a small reminder in pictures.
Inside the Parador
The Parador is built round an inner courtyard, with old furniture and artworks lining the corridors. The grand staircase has an elegant ceiling, and it is a delight to sit in the courtyard in the evenings with a glass of cava – just bliss!
The Parador at Lerma offers an elegant and interesting start to any holiday and I look forward to the next time!
