Jaca Day and Night

We had to go out for dinner most nights, and so got to see Jaca night and day.

Daytime

The streets were busy in the daytime, although quieter on a Monday when many of the shops closed. The town is well-stocked with a wide variety of shops: nice boutiques, food shops, florists, and household goods.

Nighttime

At night the town buzzes, excepting for Monday night, when many of the bars and restaurants close. The Spaniards eat late at night, with most restaurants only opening at 8.30pm – but then the days start later as well. We generally had breakfast around 9.30am…

And shops stayed open late too – it is not unusual to see a shop, or even a delicatessen, still open at 10.00pm

Jaca day and night is a friendly and welcoming town in which to wander and the days spent there were very enjoyable.

I would love to hear from you!
