The Pousada at Flor da Rosa is quite magical. It was a huge castle cum monastery which has been converted into a hotel, although when you stay there it feels more like a retreat in a family home than a hotel. Somehow I managed to delete photographs before downloading from the camera so I have attached a post from an earlier visit.
