In the mornings and evenings I wandered through the streets of Graaff Reinet – it was quiet and I loved the white walls of the houses, and the dark green doors and shutters. We stayed in one of the listed buildings, Mossievale, no.7 Park Street – wonderful, I can highly recommend it to you.

I love the long stoeps – verandahs to the English!
The doors and the fanlights were wonderful. And all over Graaff Reinet the bouganvillea enhanced doors, pergolas, walls.
