We parked on the road between Brasparts and Lannédern and set off on a circular route which took us along an old railway line, across undulating countryside, past the Chapel of Notre Dame de la Croix, and back to the car through woods and quiet roads.
Firstly, the boots! My Meindl boots have been wonderful – light, comfortable, and supportive – what more can you want.
Tucked away in the woods is The Chapel of the Cross, founded in 1522. It was burned down in 2007 but has been rebuilt. The Chapel is hidden in the trees, forgotten almost, and with a mysterious atmosphere. It looked as though it might have been walled at one point and, like many chapels, there is a sacred fountain.

A stunning post, especially those pathways
Thank you! The walking in Brittany was wonderful and I hope that I have captured the variety of the countryside, and seaside in the various walks I have posted.
