The Church of St Germain d'Auxerre, Pleyben

The organ was built by Thomas Dallam II in 1688, who also built the organ at Guimiliau.

The interior is wonderfully rich and complex, with statues dating back to the 17C.

A confessional in the Church of St Germain d'auxerre in Pleyben

The ceiling may have been blue, but it is not clear. It has some carved ribs, bosses, and carved retaining beams. The sablières, the wooden beams between the top of the walls and the vaulting of the ceiling, are wonderfully carved as usual and date to 1571.
