The Blesbok Loop Drive in The Golden Gate National Park

posted in: Home, South Africa | 2

The Blesbok Loop is a one way drive of c6.7kms which gives wonderful views and ever-changing colours. We drove it during the daytime and at the ‘golden hour’ in the evening. The start of the drive is just beyond, or before, the Glen Reenen Rest Camp in the Park.

I like Blesbok Loop best in the early morning; game is often more plentiful then before moving away from the road, and if you are lucky the road rises above low-hanging clouds and mist to give you a surreal experience of looking down onto the clouds.

I would love to hear from you!
