Blackfriars Bridge should be our next stop, but since Mr Bradshaw’s time a new bridge has intervened – the Millennium Bridge.

The London Millennium Foot Bridgealso known as ‘The Wobbly Bridge’, was designed by Arup, Foster & Partners & Sir Anthony Caro and built 1998-2000. Once the wobble was stabilised the bridge was opened permanently in 2002 . The bridge links bankside to the City and leads directly to St Paul’s Cathedral.

One of my favourite bridges thanks! Did you ride the little funicular railway lift alongside it? Great fun!

I would love to hear from you!
